Wrapped Up in the Giving, Holiday Spirit
As part of SensoryEffects’ commitment to the communities where we live and work, employees from all areas of the company joined together in the holiday spirit by giving gifts to benefit families in need.
During the month of December, SensoryEffects employees held toy collection drives and canned food drives at our various manufacturing sites. It’s always exciting, and very humbling at the same time, to see your fellow employees unite to help others in need, especially during the holidays. It helps to build a sense of company culture that we all want to be a part of.
Employees from both the SensoryEffects Flavor Systems, located in Bridgeton, Missouri (in the St. Louis area), and the SensoryEffects Powder Systems located in Marshfield, Wisconsin participated in the Toys For Tots collection drives.
Mike Schwartz, Plant Manager of the Marshfield Powder Systems, said this about the Toys For Tots collection, “Amazing! The first year’s campaign for Toys for Tots netted 95 gifts. The generosity will go a long way in making Christmas special for 95 children.” The SensoryEffects Marshfield, Wisconsin location has approximately 39 employees.
In Defiance, Ohio, our Creamer Systems headquarters collected food pantry stock items to benefit the Neighbors in Need, a program ran by Defiance’s local radio station, 105.7 The BULL. Such items collected were canned soups and vegetables, juices, cereals, pasta, baby diapers, toiletries, etc. Defiance employees will continue to collect items for the pantry throughout the New Year.
From all of us at SensoryEffects, we extend our warmest holiday greetings to you and wish you a prosperous new year!
